The first page from Neil Gaiman and McKean's classic Hold Me story. Maybe the best non Sandman story by Gaiman from the era, featuring some of McKean's finest black and white work in comics, drawn at twicw-up size. Pen and ink on paper, 16 1/2 x 23 1/2 inches. Excellent condition. Signed by McKean. Panels 1 & 2 were drawn on separate paper and pasted down. There are a couple of photocopied elements, a bit to the left of panels 2 & 3 and the left background texture in panel 4, none of this affects the figure drawing which is all original.
