Shade, The Changing Man COVER

One of the most talented artists to arrive in the British Invasion, Jamie Hewlett (creator of Tank Girl, and co-creator of the virtual band Gorillaz) goes all out in this color piece featuring Shade the Changing man and the American Scream. Shade was integral part of the Vertigo comics scene which introduced a lot of controversial adult themes to the comic book world. Acrylic paint, Pen & colored inks on paper 11 x 17 inches. Condition note, you can see the crease in the top border, where an idiot framer decided to not consult us when he folded that part back to fit a standard frame size. Doesn't affect the art at all.
