Nothing says Kafka like a cockroach transformation page! By none other than the greatest living illustrator and underground comix master R. Crumb. Let's get down to it, this is easily one of the most identifiable scenes from a Kafka book. Robert treats the sequence to his storyteller's eye. Consecutive pages 4-5. Pen & ink mounted on graph paper with the left side art pasted on (all art), and the right side drawn directly on to the paper, 17.5 x 12.5 image area, framed/matted 24 x 19.5 inches. Originally exhibited at the Tony Shafrazi Gallery in NYC.
