A great example of prime Underground Comix art by one of the pioneers of the form Jay Lynch. This back cover has it all including his most famous creations Nard N' Pat. Jam packed with lots of characters and one of them's reading a Bijou with Pro Junior on it~! Jay's signature detailed drawing style is in full form here. Bijou Funnies came out the same year as Zap Comix (1968). A true masterpiece of comix history. Jay was a Chicagoan and part of a great midwestern contingent of underground artists. Pen & ink on paper mounted on board 16 x 20 inches, excellent condition. Signed lower right Jayzey Lynch.
