GLINE Or Extraterrestrial Occurrences usually of a Political or Moral and Social Nature. Vaughn Bodē was a shining star whose light reached way past the underground scene he emerged from. That influence extended in a huge way to the street artists of the world, who adapted or just flat out ripped off his cartooning and lettering styles. This is an early piece from 1967 abd probably got published in the Syracuse University adjacent Newspaper The Sword of Damocles where many of his earliest stories were published, including the great Cheech Wizard. When this came out, some of the UG scene seemed to get their panties in a knot over Vaughn's made up language. Haters gonna hate, but great is great. It was later published in Print Mint's Junkwaffle in 1972. Pen and marker on large art board (20 x 15 inches. CM 50.8 x 38), excellent condition.
