Breakdowns (1977)- Auto-Destructo homage to Rube Goldberg

From the Underground comix Pulizer Prize winner Art Spiegelman (Maus), comes this great piece that was originally created in 1973 (signed lower right) and published in 1977's Breakdowns: From Maus to Now: An Anthology of Strips. By Belier Press. It's full title is Auto-Destructo Suicide Device a la Goldberg device. Great and crazy piece, highly detailed and w tip of the hat to Edvard Munch's the scream on the wall. Pen & ink on paper (9.5 x 6.5 inches, CM: 24 x 16.5), excellent condition. Comes matted w side x side published version of the art.
