1985 saw the continuation of Underground comix master Gilbert Shelton's brilliant storytelling in the "Idiots Abroad" story arc from FABULOUS FURRY FREAK BROTHERS. Gilbert's flagship creation was often outselling many mainstream titles, and as you can imagine it was the hands down fav of the hippie and UG crowd. This is a phenomenal image of los bros Freaky: Fineas T. Freakers, Freewheelin' Franklin Freek, and of course Fat Freddy Freekowtski! Great on all levels including the premise and backgrounds! Inks by Paul Mavrides an outstanding artist and frequent collaborator and final member of the Zap Comix collective. Pen, ink & whiteout on large 2X paper (15 x 20 inches, CM 38 x 50.8).
