Joost's NEW YORKER illo accompanied an article by Anthony Gottlieb titled Win or Lose. A history of voting from electing the Doges of Venice (13th century) to today. Clear line art and gorgeous full color image by the Dutch master. Pen & colored inks on paper (9.5 x 12.5 inches....24.10 x 31.75 CM), excellent condition, autographed lower right in pencil.
