Greg Irons

Deviant Slice -Jumpin' Jack Flesh (1973) TITLE page
Issue: 2
Page: 1

Media Type: Pencil and Ink
Art Type: Interior Page
Artists: Greg Irons

Greg Irons, a counter-culture icon whose work appeared in a wide range of projects: from Bill Graham concert posters to the very best of the Underground Comix scene. He was even in a rock band in Philly until making it out to the Bay area. Some of his greatest fame when he jumped the medium wall became a legend in Tattoo circles. He even worked on the Beatles' Yellow Submarine! Well in Deviant Slice (only two issues produced) Greg teamed up with his most fruitful collaborator Tom Veitch to turn out darkly funny and sometimes gruesomely hysterical stories. Jumpin' Jack Flesh is just that and then some. The race to world's fatest human is on, and this is the phenomenal 1st page! Check out his great use of Duo tone paper! Pen, ink & Zipatone on paper (11.5 x 14.5 inches...29.2 x 36.8 CM), very good condition, zipatone is in great condition.

$4,000.00
