Great illo from The New Yorker of the Silent era comic legend. Created using Friedman's classic stipple technique, He would abandon stipple in favor of watercolor shortly after this piece was completed. Pen and ink on paper, 5 1/2 x 10 inches. Excellent condition. Signed by Friedman.
